PP1: Carlson-Point-Kucherov-Hagel-Guentzel PP2: Goncalves-Cirelli-Holmberg-Geekie-D’Astous #GoBolts

@EddieInTheYard · 10/1

#Gobolts PP2 is D'Astous, Geekie, Cirelli, Goncalves, Holmberg

#GoBolts on the ice for pregame warmup in New York, Vasilevskiy gets the nod in net *shocked face emoji* while Lilleberg, Crozier and Sabourin are set to be the three scratches

@EddieInTheYard · 10/1

Sabourin, Lilleberg and Crozier are the last three on the ice for today’s #GoBolts morning skate at MSG. So they’ll be the scratches tonight vs. #NYR.

@EddieInTheYard · 10/1

Hedman did not take any reps on PP2. He spent all of the special teams drills working on the PK.

@EddieInTheYard · 10/1

Sabourin is the 13th forward. Not taking line rushes.

@BenjaminJReport · 9/30

In another drill, we see some changed combos from the full line rushes. Mikheyev-Point-Kucherov Hagel-Cirelli-Guentzel Viel-Girgensons-Holmberg Harkins-Geekie-Goncalves-Sabourin Trying different looks early today

Stick taps for Yanni Gourde, who drew in on some drills today, in the middle of the #GoBolts post-skate stretch circle. First time I’ve seen him on the ice with the group. He’s been skating on his own after offseason hip surgery. https://t.co/RzagvSXpIH

NEW@EddieInTheYard · 10/3

Yanni Gourde is one of the first #GoBolts players on the ice for morning skate, wearing a red contact jersey. Gourde is projected to return in December after offseason hip surgery. Geekie and James also on the ice early. https://t.co/50miA5K2bG

NEW@BenjaminJReport · 10/3

We have our first #GoBolts on the ice for morning skate. Dominic James and Yanni Gourde (non-contact) join Conor Geekie to get things underway. https://t.co/zWER2KvQkF

NEW@EddieInTheYard · 10/3

Return of the ‘Pack: The #GoBolts really missed Pontus Holmberg down the stretch and in the playoffs last season after his freak season-ending injury. Now, the player they call “The Backpack” is back ready to carry the load again on a revamped line. https://t.co/d9EIwID981

@BenjaminJReport · 9/30

#GoBolts coach Jon Cooper on Brayden Point: "He didn't leave this summer. He stayed here, and he was a regular on the ice five days a week as long as he was here. That alone showed that he was really focused on this year. But listen, Pointer didn't have the year he had because you're so used to seeing him get 40 and 50 goals a year. Yeah, he was down last year and he was hampered by some injuries. But I know he's taken a ton of steps here to make sure that that he's ready both physically and mentally, and you've seen it so far."

@sammisilber · 9/29

After John Carlson was injured a few years ago he wore a plastic guard over his right ear for some time. Not sure if he still does in Tampa. In Carlson’s case, the puck had sent his helmet hard into the side of his head, severing his temporal artery and fracturing his skull.

Brandon Hagel and Jake Guentzel are the last #GoBolts skaters on the ice for pregame warmups ahead of the home opener against #AllCaps. https://t.co/dYSEpsNMDP

NEW@EddieInTheYard · 10/3

#GoBolts have 7 D on the ice for pregame warmups tonight with Lilleberg as the 7th. Don't see Jansen Harkins on the ice. We are looking at 11 and 7 tonight vs. #AllCaps.

NEW@BenjaminJReport · 10/3

Emil Lilleberg is on the ice for warmups, I do not see Jansen Harkins. It looks like the #GoBolts are rolling with 11 forwards, 7 defensemen tonight against the Capitals.

NEW@BenjaminJReport · 10/3

#GoBolts defenseman John Carlson tonight sees a pair of firsts: It’s his @TBLightning home debut and his first time facing the Capitals, where he spent the first 17 seasons of his career. On facing WSH: “I think it'll be a little weird. As soon as the schedule came out, it didn't take long to see it. We'll see what happens, but I think at a minimum it'll be a little bit weird.” On playing in front of Tampa fans: “It’s gonna be cool. Opening night, home opener, it’s always an extra charged up crowd. I'm looking forward to it, and my kids are too.”

NEW@BenjaminJReport · 10/2

Cirelli took the draw on this power play and stayed on the ice for the setup. He stands in front of the net and Hagel draws out.

@EddieInTheYard · 10/1

Also, how Brandon Hagel and Anthony Cirelli are the #GoBolts' Fire and Ice combination, and how they epitomize the #TBLightning's "I've got your back" mentality. https://t.co/Mr6UG4AvtP @TB_Times #TampaBay
