Power play unit of LaCombe, Granlund, Sennecke, Gauthier and Carlsson combine to give the Ducks the lead again. Would expect that to be the top power play unit to start the season. #FlyTogether

Power play was a little sloppy that time around. Passes were largely off target. 0/1. Avs went 4/5 on opening night.

Olen Zellweger is on the ice for Sabres warmups. Matt Grzelcyk isn't out there, so looks like he'll come out.

NEW@BenPopeCST · 10/3

Louis Crevier said it'll be "pretty strange" to face the Blackhawks tonight. But he's already feeling more comfortable with the Sabres, where he recently signed a four-year contract, than he did in their first game Thursday in Columbus.

Newcomer Louis Crevier made such a strong impression on the #Buffalo #Sabres they signed him to a four-year contract extension before his debut: https://t.co/q2pZifseBF
