Evangelista on being on the #NJDevils PP1... says he's just trying to fit in because "those guys have been playing together for years." He adds: "I’m just trying to find lanes for them, get my stick in those little soft spots to find me, kind of like what you saw tonight.”

@amandacstein · 9/26

Evangelista in the slot on the power play! #NJDevils are up 1-0. The puck control by PP1 was just spectacular. They entered the zone early and never gave up the blue line. Cycled the puck and eventually Evangelista bats it home from the slot.

@amandacstein · 9/26

#NJDevils PP1: Nico, Jack, Bratt and Luke x2. PP2: Dougie, Timo, Grits, Rodrigues and Mantha.

@amandacstein · 9/25

No surprise here but Amadeus Lombardi remains with #NJDevils. That leaves Lombardi, Noesen and Boqvist competing for the same spot. Lombardi will get one more look tomorrow v. NYI. He skated with Glass and Brown today. Defenseman Anton Silaev has been assigned to Utica.

@JamesNicholsNHL · 9/24

#NJDevils PP1: Casey, Hameenaho, Boqvist, Lombardi, Noesen.
