Role changes show up in ICE TIME days before they show up on the scoresheet. This page catches promotions early.
- Δ TOI / Δ PP min
- Change in total and power-play minutes: last 10 team games vs the 20 before. Positive = growing role.
- Δ PP share
- Change in HIS slice of the team's total power-play time. Jumping from 15% to 50% usually means he took someone's PP1 job.
- Δ elite ice
- Change in even-strength minutes alongside the team's top-3 scorers — the 'promoted to the top line' signal.
- Team context
- Injuries and roster moves on his team — usually the WHY behind the opportunity.
