Garand called this “the craziest week of my life.” Said he had just gotten a Hartford apartment, then got pulled off the ice during Wolf Pack practice by AGM Ryan Martin to tell him he was being recalled. Then he comes to #NYR and gets his first career shutout. “I’m proud of myself for the way I just kind of left it out there.”

Some thoughts on NSH’s opening night roster. -10 of those forwards were locks. The other 2 (Edstrom and Schaefer) I suppose they didn’t want to lose in waivers. Starting Martin in MKE sealed their spot.

The Predators assign Brady Martin to Milwaukee, confirming the former first round pick will not make the opening night roster. https://t.co/wbKdxLx9by

“Brady Martin is exempt from waivers and can be sent to Milwaukee” Yes but what if he’s also been clearly the best 12th forward? He deserves to make the opening night roster and it’s because he’s better than A Edstrom, Pinchuk, Schaefer, etc. (as you’d expect him to be)

Training camp is less than a week old, but we've learned a lot about the 2026-27 Predators. Center depth, speed on defense, Brady Martin's case, Joakim Kemell, etc. Here's everything I've learned so far: https://t.co/baGL46s5Ou

Brady Martin building his case to make the Predators roster out of training camp for the 2nd straight year. Note he’s eligible for AHL this season, so he doesn’t have to go back to OHL. https://t.co/7PtWFbbXiH
