#RedWings had 10 first-round picks in Yzerman era and 6 are in the lineup tonight (Seider, Raymond, Kasper, Danielson, Sandin-Pellikka, Brandsegg-Nygard). The others were Edvinsson (unsigned), Cossa/Hurlbert (U-M) essentially swapped, Bear (injured) and bound for @griffinshockey.

Tourigny on Cossa's training camp: "We were confident when he was out there. He radiates confidence...they were good lineups & there was a lot of traffic in those games. We're happy about his camp." He added that the number of games he'll play will be dependent on his performance, Vejmelka's, & the team.

Impressed by Utah's last shift. They could not clear the puck to save their lives but they dug in, battled, got bailed out by Cossa a time or two, and outlasted an absolute onslaught of shots by the Knights. Simashev on the ice for 3 consecutive minutes. These guys are fighting.
