My thoughts on the 23 players who made the #NYR roster can be found using the link below, but here are a few extra nuggets on the guys who missed the cut and variables in play: ▪️ I've heard varying opinions on whether Garand will get claimed. It's not a foregone conclusion, but there's certainly a chance. Ideally the Rangers keep both Garand and Korpisalo in the organization to provide coverage in the event of injury, but now they're at the mercy of waivers. Some of the reactions have been over the top -- the Rangers are probably toast if Shesterkin goes down anyway -- but there's a lack of

Looks like today is a PK day. Cuylle with Laba, Pettersson-Durzi one unit. Kartye with Veleno, Gavrikov-Schneider a second unit. Miller and Zibanejad working with PP1, which is intact. Raddysh-Tolvanen and Smits-Robertson the third unit.
