Cayden Primeau has cleared waivers

@corylav · 2026-09-27 · transaction· also @WaltRuffmentioned

The Hurricanes have assigned Bradly Nadeau and Felix Unger Sorum to AHL Chicago. Jusso Valimaki has been placed on waivers for assignment. Carolina must have concerns about getting Cayden Primeau through waivers, thus the decision to keep three goalies rather than one of Nadeau or Unger Sorum.

Worth noting that Theofanous — Nikishin’s new agent — is Kochetkov’s agent and just got a new deal signed with Carolina. He also represents Cayden Primeau and Ivan Ryabkin.
