Casey DeSmith has signed a two year extension with the Dallas Stars, worth $5 million ($2.5M AAV). DeSmith, who would’ve been a UFA next summer, now gets a handsome raise - the largest AAV of his career. Well deserved! Important move after Rémi Poirier was claimed off waivers.
