Ahead of a Friday-Saturday home-road back-to-back set against the Capitals and Flyers, the #Canes are practicing at Lane Arena. Pyotr Kochetkov is operating in the crease usually held by the next day's starting goalie. We'll find out around 2 p.m. if Cayden Primeau clears waivers and makes it to Chicago (AHL). Seth Jarvis remains working in his yellow, no-contact sweater. As has been the case during every #Canes training camp under Rod Brind'Amour, today's sessions ended with some hard skating. "That'll make you forget about the Stanley Cup," Jordan Martinook directed toward the media as he left the ice. Brind'Amour said that's how it should be. "We're on a new journey, right? It started with day one, today. That's exactly what we kind of need to hear."
