Jonathan Huberdeau - CGY. Flames’ Huberdeau suffers setback in recovery from hip resurfacing surgery (DailyFaceoff, 2026-09-02) Projected for 74 games and 44 points on the projected line 2 and PP1.

Tyler Seguin - DAL. Tyler Seguin missed most of last season after suffering an injury, but he's now back on the ice ramping up for his return to the @DallasStars lineup as opening night of 2026-27 approaches. (NHLPR, 2026-09-02) Projected for 56 games and 37 points on the projected line 2 and PP2.

Semyon Varlamov - NYI. Islanders’ Varlamov to be ‘full participant in camp’ after recovering from knee injury (DailyFaceoff, 2026-09-02) Projected for 15 starts, 7 wins, .892 save percentage.

Filip Gustavsson - MIN. Only injury as of now is rehabbing Filip Gustavsson from offseason hip surgery (RussoHockey, 2026-09-04) Projected for 43 starts, 22 wins, .894 save percentage.

Moves and signings

Brent Burns - COL. 7 so they'd have to replace Burns in 12 months AKA find a new third pair partner for Manson (runwriteAarif, 2026-08-29) Projected for 68 games and 23 points on the projected pair 2 and PP2.

Kevin Korchinski - CHI. BREAKING: The Blackhawks have re-signed Kevin Korchinski on a two-year deal with a $1.325 million cap hit. (ByScottPowers, 2026-08-29) Projected for 36 games and 6 points.

Tij Iginla - UTA. Simashev, But, Iginla, Desnoyers, Hrabal and Gabe Smith all listed. (BagleyKSLsports, 2026-09-01) Projected for 80 games and 42 points on the projected line 3 and PP2.

Jacob Melanson - SEA. Kraken finally re-signed their last RFA, hit machine Jacob Melanson, to a three-year deal ($1.45M AAV). (KateShefte, 2026-09-04) Projected for 25 games and 4 points.
